Dan Rathbun began playing piano as a boy, and electronic synthesizers as a young teen. After playing in a variety of bands throughout his high school years, he joined a Florida band named "Freedom Jam". This Christian band ministered to high school kids by bringing them the gospel message in the context of a rock concert. The band toured much of the United States and was used by the Lord throughout the mid-eighties.
After extensive touring, Dan spent seven years playing professionally in the New England area. In the mid-nineties he began a sabbatical from music that would last nearly a decade. During this time he married, began raising a family, and learned to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with his God.
Dan now attends Bethlehem Bible Church in West Boylston, MA (BBC) where he helps lead worship. He hopes to exalt the name of Jesus through music, and to reach others with the good news of Christ.
